Another achievement for Binance, which also run the popular cryptocurrency exchange, as Propy Inc, a real estate firm will accept payments in Binance coin (BNB) for purchasing the property. This was confirmed via a tweet by the firm saying “Propy will accept BNB for home buying! Binance chain is coming and $BNB, which is a great store value today, will turn into programmable money. For the rapidly growing BNB community, we make it possible to invest in real estate with easy paperwork at Propy!” Following this, Changpeng Zhao, Binance CEO showed excitement in his recent brief tweet “Wow, thanks!” indicating how crucial this is for Binance. Dukascopy, the Swiss-based bank has launched CFD (Contract For Difference – A popular form of derivative trading) on Ether. From today, Dukoascopy starts trading operations on Ether to US dollars (ETH/USD), this is available for Dukascopy Bank and Dukascopy Europe self-trading accounts. On October 9, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) awarded a patent to Mastercard for a method to partition a Blockchain. This method allows the Mastercard to store transactions of multiple types and formats. According to the patent filing document, the transactions stored in the current Blockchain system must be of the same format, type, and even size. The Department of Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy issued a grant of $912,000 to UK national telecoms regulator Ofcom. The aim of the grant is to explore solutions for managing UK landline numbers through Blockchain technology. Their announcement quoted: “Between now and April 2020, we’ll be inviting industry participants to trial the porting and management of millions of telephone numbers using Blockchain and ledger technology.
